Tiel, the Acolyte is likely the third shell you’ll find in Mortal Shell. Keep in mind, Tiel is now located in the cave where you fight Ven Noctivagu in Fallgrim Outskirts.

Tiel The Acolyte’s Stats

Tiel has the lowest Durability of any Shell, meaning he can take the least amount of hits before he is knocked out or killed. For this reason, this Shell might not be ideal for new players who are still familiarizing themselves with the game’s mechanics. However, Tiel has the highest Stamina in the game, allowing him to perform more attacks than other Shells before Stamina replenishment is necessary.

Which Tiel Skills to Take

Once the Skill tree is unlocked, you’ll see that Tiel specializes in poison-based skills. We recommend focusing on the following skills:

• Accretion of Yearning – Get this skill first to make Tiel practically invulnerable to poison.
• Accretion of Dominance – This skill greatly increases the chances of poisoning an enemy with Tiel’s attacks.
• Accretion of Inheritance – Take this skill after obtaining all other Accretion skills as it improves the odds of triggering Tiel’s other skills.
• Recollection of Death – This skill allows the ‘Last Chance’ ability to be regained, providing the player with an extra opportunity of recovering.

Other skills like Accretion of Resolve and Accretion of Endurance can be taken later on, but they’re not as useful.

Which Weapons to Use with Tiel

Given Tiel’s high Stamina, any of the game’s four weapons can be used effectively. However, we recommend the Martyr’s Blade or the Hammer and Chisel for the following reasons:

• Martyr’s Blade – Tiel’s high Stamina works well with this weapon, helping to one-shot enemies after gaining Accretion of Dominance.
• Hammer and Chisel – More Stamina means more continuous strikes to stagger enemies, making the Hammer and Chisel a great choice.

Although the Hallowed Sword and the Smoldering Mace can also be used effectively, the Martyr’s Blade and Hammer and Chisel are more optimized for Tiel.
