How these guides are made

This page exists so you can judge how much weight to put on anything here. It describes what we actually do — not an aspiration.

Sourcing

Guides are researched from documented references: official storefront listings and patch notes, community wikis, and established guide sites and forums. A guide was only written where at least two independent references carrying real gameplay information could be found. Where those references exist, they are listed in the Sources section at the foot of the guide, so you can check the original yourself.

Some entries in a reference list are storefront or rating-board pages. Those establish what a game is and how it is classified; they are not strategy sources, and we filter them out of the displayed list.

What "sources" does and does not mean

A source count on a guide means we consulted that many references while researching. It does not mean an editor played the game to completion, benchmarked the numbers, or re-tested after the latest patch. We are explicit about this because the difference matters.

Freshness

Every guide carries the date it was last updated. Live-service and frequently patched games drift fastest — treat exact values, balance claims and tier rankings in those games as time-stamped rather than current.

Corrections

We fix errors when they are reported. If a guide is wrong, tell us which one and what is wrong: contact us. Corrections are the fastest way this library gets better.

Independence

Nothing on this site is paid placement. We do not accept payment to include, rank, or recommend a game. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the page where it applies.
